Lydell Gadsden

Supervisor

I have been with the company for a few years now. I started as a customer service rep and became a supervisor soon after. I have gained experience and insight by working with multiple clients during my tenure and have found that my strength is people. There is nothing that cannot be accomplished with a solid team.

James Jackson

Brand Manager

As the brand manager in our Costa Rica office, I joke that I’m jack of all trades, master of none. I’m responsible for all accounts in Costa Rica, meaning I’m the ambassador between our clients, our offshore office and our call center headquarters in Lenexa, KS.

More Facts

I joined Centrinex in 2009 after being laid off twice in downsizing over a four-year span. I came from the gaming and utility industries—both supposedly recession-proof. After being out of work for eight months, I’d decided to take the first job offered to me. Frankly, I thought I’d be a call center agent for six months max until I found a different job. Centrinex gave me chances to learn and shine and I was promoted within six months. I have to say the attention and opportunities from higher management keeps me at Centrinex. I earned my way to Costa Rica and earn staying here every day. It’s a “you get what you give” job. Management shows their appreciation and rewards people who show up and do their jobs. My job at Centrinex has given me many opportunities in life.

Trish Lovelace

Brand Manager

Back in 2009, an employment agency directed me to Centrinex. As soon as I went through the interview process, I knew there was a difference between this environment and other call centers where I’d worked before.

More Facts

I began here as a customer service representative and was promoted to my current brand manager position by helping where I could and applying for advanced positions as they became available. If you’ve worked in a call center, you know that tenure can be an issue. That’s not the case here. I chose Centrinex and choose to stay here for the same reasons as others do. The advancement opportunities, the flexibility (which is helpful being the mom of two kids) and the family-oriented feel. Our team enjoys doing things together even outside of work, like going to Dave & Busters. As a brand manager, my favorite part of the job is getting to know people on my team, being there for them, giving them an ear for venting… so we deliver the best level of customer service possible.

Gabrielle Rediger

Department Supervisor

In 2015, I was looking to find a place where I could find job stability and stay. I’d worked in a call center before, and I was referred to Centrinex by a team leader. It took me 10 months before I was promoted to an associate supervisor position.

More Facts

In that time, I learned the work environment and the culture, plus met amazing co-workers. I knew I would stay here and grow. I think applicants who have a good personality and a positive attitude, who are open to change and can take constructive criticism work well in this environment. Things can change day to day, so we’re constantly learning, training and asking questions. Eventually, I want to run my own portfolio, but I just received a promotion and have a few titles to earn before I get there. Before Centrinex, I worked at a lot of jobs where you weren’t recognized for what you did. Here, management recognizes accomplishments, big and small. Plus, there are so many benefits and assistance programs like the “Refer a Friend” program, tuition reimbursement and college discounts, Employee Assistance Program, health insurance—there is a lot they offer here.

Gary Lee

Brand Manager

I started at Centrinex as a part-time customer service representative back in 2011, and today, I’m a brand manager in charge of a portfolio. I’d worked at another call center doing collections. I was looking for customer service, and that is what attracted me to Centrinex.

More Facts

After two interviews, I just felt good about our company’s reputation and it could be a fit for me. Turns out I was right. Good people here, from the CSRs to the CEO. Centrinex cares about personal and professional development. We learn skills that apply to both work and everyday life. You have a lot of freedom to be who you are and a lot of opportunities for growth. When I interview people, I notice those who come from restaurant and customer service jobs have the skills to succeed here, even if they don’t realize it. Working hard, constant movement and communication, multi-tasking, retaining information, etc. Centrinex recognizes these skills and strengthens them. If you have communication and people skills, you thrive here—it’s a place to build skills in a career, not just get a job.

Kristina Vega

Brand Manager

A gas station cashier and retail jobs were what I had done before I became a customer service representative at Centrinex in 2012. Centrinex absorbed the loan processing company I worked for. It ended up being a great opportunity.

More Facts

It was clear that I would be able to move up at Centrinex from my entry level CSR position, even though I didn’t have a lot of schooling or job experience back then. I stay here because I went from CSR to brand manager, and there isn’t anyone on my management team that I don’t like or don’t respect. I get bored easily, but I understand the positions I’ve had at Centrinex and I want to learn from my managers so that I can move up. Centrinex posts jobs internally, so you can apply for a promotion. I covered for my manager who was on maternity leave. She didn’t return, so I kept her position. There is a lot of opportunity here if you want to grab it. At the end of the day, we are a call center. If you enjoy dealing with people, are flexible, can go with the flow, have a sense of humor and patience, you can succeed here. My favorite part of the job is the freedom, it’s never boring and it’s always evolving, like it has for the many years I’ve been here.
